Hey there, I made a facebook page!
I hope to update my facebook page a lot more than tumblr (facebook is for spamming, right?), so check it out!

With a heavy heart I strolled through the massive Ross Bay cemetery in Victoria, walking and walking until I found a good tree to rest upon in the sun. A small grave came into focus, reading: “Dear Mother Earth! I think I have always specially belonged to you. I have loved from babyhood to roll upon you, to lie with my face pressed right down on to you in my sorrows. I love the look of you and the smell of you and the feel of you. When I die, I should like to be in you uncoffined, unshrouded, the petals of flowers against my flesh, and you covering me up.” It was then that I realized I was paying a visit to the lovely Emily Carr. Sometimes life will give you a moment when you need it. Thanks for the reminder, Emily.
Hello friends! I have created a facebook page for Antlerlash Productions. I am hoping to share even more content and full albums in the future, so feel free to check it out!
I also thought it would be a good way to connect with some of my tumblr followers who don’t have me as a friend on facebook.
Here it is:

An Afternoon at Abkhazi
I spent a recent afternoon at the lovely, peaceful Abkhazi garden in Victoria, BC. I’m really excited to be working on a few video projects with the Land Conservancy of BC- it’s inspiring and encourages me to spend more time shooting and editing video.
I tried to incorporate all aspects of the garden in this video- the flowers, ducks, turtles, landscapes, humans, insects, silence…
Molly and Murray, resident ducks, enjoy the garden with their young ones.
“The Abkhazi Garden is an exquisite heritage home and garden located in Victoria, British Columbia…Prince and Princess Abkhazi began creating their garden in 1946.”
The Abkhazis worked together on their creation for over 40 years, referring to it as “their child”. After their deaths the Garden changed hands, and in February 2000, The Land Conservancy purchased the property to save it from becoming a townhouse development.”

Fountain
…behind Parliament in downtown Victoria, BC.
There are a bunch of reasons why I like this photo. Badass wolf, soft flowing water, sparkly coloured rocks, streetlights shining like stars, slimy seals…
Also thank you tumblr buddies for your opinions on my graphics (and for being awesome). I appreciate that!

I’ve redesigned my blog a bit. I’m also making some new graphics for my website and whatnot. Trying to choose… any opinions?
Hopefully I will have a new demo reel out soon, as mine are pretty dated and I have tons of new nature and wildlife shots (mostly birds, ha!) Ahhh, self motivation.

Bighorn Sheep
I almost missed these guys while driving along the terrifying highway through Golden, BC. Try stopping on the side of a narrow highway, at the top of a mile-high dropoff, while transport trucks speed by. Anything for a photo.
They looked a bit disheveled but they were simply losing their winter fur.
