This one is for my good friend Jeska, who giggles uncontrollably every time the ducks “stick their butts in the air”- making it very difficult to get a steady shot of them.
The mallards are Molly and Murray, resident ducks at Abkhazi Garden. I’ve been working on a story about the garden and will post more photos later.

Duck Update
I could probably photograph ducks all day. You can imagine my excitement after stumbling upon a hidden pond occupied by a dozen mallards (and one ring-necked duck) while visiting the University of Victoria.
